The association has directed a letter to the chairman of the corporation - Asela Iddawala, on this regard.
Noting that a security guard of the Corporation was at the site when the demolition took place on March 26, the press release questions why the guard had not reported of this to the nearest police station and why no disciplinary inquiry has been initiated against the guard.
The association also says that they will seek legal redress against the demolition of public assets.
However, they urge Mr. Iddawala to fulfil his duty as corporation chairman and a public servant as well.
