Ramanayake had criticised the minister for demolishing a part of the walking track and its plaque at black canal at Mabola in Wattala.

Using derogatory language, the minister has threatened Ramanayake, demanding to correct what Ramanayake had stated, reports add.

Meanwhile, speaking to media after the UNP Working Committee meeting, Ramanayake had said that Prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe had advised Amaratunga not to demolish walkways or build roads according to his own whims.
