He has been appointed in charge of the ground by the UDA while the grounds has a curator in Trevor Nugawela.
Wettasinghe has taken over five rooms of the dressing room for himself and his staff.
Meanwhile, he has complained to the UDA that the red carpet belonging to the ground has been damaged during a function to see off the Sri Lanka team to the T-20 world cup.
A UDA official said what Wettasinghe should have done was to get Sri Lanka Cricket, which organized the ceremony, to pay for the damage.
Administration of the Colombo racecourse ground is in a jumble due to actions by its CEO Lt. Col. Rohan Wettasinghe of the volunteer force.
