Speaking to media, Rajapaksa said that the attendance of SLFPers cannot be prevented regardless of any possible obstacles. He added that 'true' SLFPers opposing the government would join the rally.
The rally is organised against several points including the alleged hunting down of war heroes, ECTA pact and depriving election rights.
