According to media reports, the girl's mother has made a complaint on this regard with the Child and Women bureau desk at the Kandy police.

In her complaint, the mother had said she learnt that her daughter was abducted by a group in a trishaw, while on her way back from the exam yesterday (15).

Police investigations are underway.
