A total of around 35 MPs, their relatives and bodyguards living at the Madiwela official quarters suffer from dengue, and most of them remain in hospital, reports say.
This situation has arisen due to very poor cleaning and medical health observation at the residential facility.
This area comes under the Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte municipal council.
