General secretary of the party, Duminda Dissanayake said, a committee was appointed at a central committee meeting at President’s House on September 18 to decide how the SLFP should respond to the report.
The committee will meet next week and report within a week or two about what the party’s response should be, said Dissanayake.
The SLFP CC decided to ensure the country’s unitary status and sovereignty as well as all those who made commitments to save the country are protected through that response.
