The IUSF has tabled a host of proposals on this regard.

Abolishing private universities, increasing the university students intake, preventing course fees being charged in universities, increasing the bursary to Rs. 5,000 and stopping money from being collected in schools are several of their proposals.

Noting that grave issues prevail in universities, the IUSF says that it is the responsibility of the government to provide solutions.

They say that they will be waiting for the government's response and will take action accordingly.
