According to the police, the two suspects live close to the house of the victim and are now being questioned over the incident.

Among the two arrested is a 17 year old youth.

The child who went missing in Kotadeniyawa was later found dead in close proximity to her house.

Investigations later revealed that the child had been molested and killed.
