According to reports, the duo had deviously changed a Rs. 6,000 worth bill as Rs. 16,000 before handing it over to the accounts division.

A probe report on this regard by manager of Anti Corruption and Security for SLC - Lakshman de Silva has been handed over to the higher officials, and this too, has gone missing, internal sources say.

This particular bill was one issued by 'Sri Lankan Airlines', reports say.

However, it is said that the interim committee has halted increments of Vajira and Gayathri due to this incident.

When the SLC employees received a major salary hike two years back, it was the Marketing division which had the highest increment (175%).
