One of them will be Vajira Dassanayake, head of marketing and communications.
Another reason for his removal is said to be due to his conduct when publishing the tender for awarding broadcasting rights for the Indian tour and his preferential treatment to a certain media institution when granting SLC advertisements to the media.
This particular institution is the former workplace of Dassanayake, reports say.
In all, around 20 over 60-year-old contract employees will be removed from SLC, which will save around Rs. 2.5 million a month for the institution.
It will save Rs. 700,000 a month by removing three employees who had joined SLC after retiring from the armed forces.
