PM calls for progress report on disappearance & murder cases

Prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has called for a progress report on the investigations done on several disappearance and murder cases.

The cases include that of former MP Nadaraja Raviraj, former Sunday Leader Editor - Lasantha Wickremetunga, LankaENews journalist - Prageeth Ekneligoda and Ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen.

According to reports, the Prime minister has made the order today (07) and Prime minister's secretary - Saman Ekanayake had briefed the Attorney General, the IGP, CID Director and TID Director on this regard.
