He has said that members to the constitutional council will be appointed next week.

Parliament will approve, at its September 22 sitting or thereafter, the three civilian members to the 10-member council.

Thereafter, members to the independent commissions on elections, public services, police, audit, human rights, bribery or corruption, finance, demarcation, national grants and university grants commissions will be appointed.
