The The Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges is probing the weapons dealings of Rakna Lanka security firm, and it is not looking into former defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, commission chairman Preethi Padman Surasena said.
The chairman has informed Rajapaksa’s lawyers Anil Silva and Ali Sabri about this, after they had asked the commission not to question their client about the floating armoury at Galle port.
The CID, The FCID and the bribery commission have already questioned him with regard to the floating armoury, ‘Dinamina’ reports.
