He was arrested after he surrendered to the Matale Police this morning.
Former Matale District UPFA MP Lakshman Wasantha Perera who was arrested today (03) on charges of allegedly abducting a UNP supporter and assaulting, was remanded till August 6 by Matale Magistrate.
