President of the Lanka Estate Services Union Dhammika Jayawardena said labourers as well as officers attached to the State Plantation Corporation, Janatha Estate Development Board and Elkaduwa Plantations Company have been denied these allowances.

The cabinet has approved the payment of these allowances, which is yet to be done, he said.
