The former minister who was remanded until today, was produced before Kaduwela Magistrate's Court this morning (05).

Former Economic Development Ministry Secretary Dr. Nihal Jayatilaka, former Director General of the Divineguma Department, R.R.K. Ranawaka and Divi Neguma Regional Director Bandula Thilakasiri were also further remanded until May 07.

The former minister and three other senior ministry officials were arrested by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) on April 22 and was remanded till May 05 after being produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate on April 23.
