Fernando has been summoned to FCID in relation to alleged financial irregularities connected to Sathosa during his tenure as the Cooperatives and Internal Trade Minister.
Former Minister of Cooperatives and Internal Trade Johnston Fernando reported to the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Unit (FCID) this morning (5) and Sri Lanka Mirror reporter stated that a statement is currently being recorded from him.
