Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror', secretary of the Society of Government Pharmacists, Ajith Tilakaratne said that despite the National Drug Policy being passed in Parliament, it has become just another dossier.
In order to put the Policy to action, an authority should be set up and officials appointed, he added.
Tilakaratne added that the level of enthusiasm that existed to pass the Bill does not exist with regard to implementing it.
He concluded that the country is yet to receive any benefit from the passed National Drug Policy.
