The party said at a news conference today that it would invite former Presidents Kumaratunga and Rajapaksa for the party's May Day rally scheduled to be held at Hyde Park Grounds in Colombo.

The event will be held under the patronage of President Sirisena.

Party SLFP General Secretary, MP Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said the party has made arrangements for three groups of party supporters to march towards the ground along three routes.
