He observed that the Agriculture Ministry is now following the policy of moving from a green revolution to a white revolution.

Dissanayake explained that the white revolution will focus on the continuous production of food crops, machinisation of the agriculture sector while following safe cultivating methods and attract the youth population to the sector by promoting concepts such as e-agriculture.
