Speaking, President of the College of Medical Administrators of Sri Lanka - Dr. Amal Harsha De Silva has said that regardless of how talented the retired officials might be, recalling them would block the path of young talented officials.

Also speaking, Dr. Nalinda Herath of the Government Medical Officers' Association said that if retired officials are recalled they would assess the situation and resort to Trade Union action.
