Champika fulfilling President's stance - Lalkantha Featured

A reasonable doubt is being raised that Minister Champika Ranawaka is fulfilling the stance of the President, JVP politburo member and Western Province councillor K.D. Lalkantha says.

Speaking during a live programme on V FM radio this morning (27), he said that the JVP suggests before the country that minister Champika is against curbing the powers of executive presidency, due to the influence of the President.

He added that that view of the Jathika Hela Urumaya, which lacks public foundation, cannot be allowed at any cost.

Lalkantha further said that Minister Ranawaka is hoping to succeed Maithripala Sirisena as President.
