Senior Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) stalwart Susil Premajayantha is to be appointed as the party’s national organiser, inside sources told 'Sri Lanka Mirror'.

His name will be put forward for approval by the SLFP’s Executive Council and its All-Island Council at a convention to be held today (February 14).

There will be no change in the Secretary’s post as the Party has decided to retain Anura Priyadharshana Yapa with the backing of President Maithripala Sirisena who is also the head of the SLFP.

Minister Rajitha Senaratne is to be appointed as Vice president of the party.

According to party secretary Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, some interesting facts are to be revealed at the Convention today (February 14)
