This order was issued after a petition filed by JVP MP Vijitha Herath was taken up today.

This petition called on authorities to arrest KP and produce him before court.

The case was taken up before a bench comprising of President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Vijith Malalgoda and Justice H.M.D. Nawaz.
