Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress has urged postal vote holders to exercise their franchise giving priority to democracy and the security of the party and the masses.

Postal voting for the upcoming presidential election will be held today (23) and tomorrow.

The SLMC leader has emphasised the need to vote according to their consciences.

However, the SLMC is yet to announce whom they will support at the upcoming presidential election.

Speaking at a function in Kandy yesterday (22), Hakeem said that their decision would be announced today.
