He said the pledge made by Maitripala Sirisena in his Manifesto gave the people reason to vote against the current President.

Lal Kantha further said the Manifesto of Maithripala Sirisena were not of any political party or individual but meant for the welfare of the people.

"Taking all this into account the people should know by now who they should vote for", said Lal Kantha.
