3 more PC members claim rip-off, pledge support for Maithripala Featured

Three more Provincial Council (PC) members have pledged their support for Common Opposition Candidate Maithripala Sirisena.

They are Indika Rajapaksa (Attanagalla PC), Somaratne Diyanethi (Mirigama PC) and Jeewani Kariyawasam (Chilaw PC).

The trio announced their crossover to the Opposition at a media conference held at the residence of former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaranatunga today (December 16).

One of the PC members Indika Rajapaksa charged that the government after passing 10 lakhs of rupees for a project, spent only three lakhs on it and the balance seven lakhs ripped off.
