According to him, this paddy stock was of good quality and should not have been sold as animal feed.
Further, the PMB had purchased it at Rs. 45 per kilo, he says, adding that the state has spent an additional Rs. 5 per kilo on bank loans, warehouse facilities, packing etc.
Therefore, it has lost Rs. 26 per kilo, for a total loss of Rs. 260 million, he notes.
