Meanwhile, several bottles of liquor have been recovered from an abandoned room near the Airport and Aviation Services Authority’s car park at Katunayake.

Following a tipoff, the OIC of the airport police seized the 100 bottles of liquor belonging to nine brands.

Police are investigating, after notifying the excise department.
