The Cargills 'My Choice' rage! Featured

Cargills Ceylon is currently seeking the approval of the Railways Department to establish their outlets in 150 train stations in the island, reports say.

Recent reports cited that the company was preparing to take over 200 outlets of Lanka Sathosa, which is currently facing a steep decline due to the administration weaknesses of its' Chairman.

However, economic analysts say that this situation could lead to a monopoly.

Cargills is currently selling products produced or packaged under their own brand 'My Choice' and these are available according to consumer demand (as shown below), usually at a slightly lower cost than competing product brands.

This also imposes a major impact on small and medium scale entrepreneurs.

We will reveal further details soon.
