The mother of the child who became sick due to the contaminated ‘Daily’ milk packet that was bought on May 19 had complained to the management of the Bopitiya Cargills outlet, and asked that milk packets from that particular batch no. be not sold, reports reaching Sri Lanka Mirror say.
When contacted over the phone, its manager confirmed finding ‘Daily’ milk packets with a very bitter taste from the outlet.
