The milk packet, purchased from a supermarket in the Bopitiya area on May 19 has contained an extreme bitterness.

The receipt pertaining to purchase is shown below.

Although the lady who had made the purchase had complained of this to the local PHI, the PHI has asked to complain to the product's producers - Lanka Milk Foods as he was currently involved in providing relief to the flood affected.

However, upon contacting the area distribution manager of Lanka Milk Foods, he initially said that they have not received such a complaint so far.

However, he later admitted to receiving such a complaint when we asked why he had phoned the lady who was affected.

Although he assured to get back to us after getting more details from the sales rep with regard to this incident, we are yet to receive a callback.
