Following that, on the health minister’s instructions, director general of health services Dr. Palitha Mahipala telephoned their father and discussed the mother’s condition, says a statement issued by the ministry.
Doctors have estimated the cost of the surgery at around Rs. 01 million, and the health minister has instructed that all facilities be given for the surgery.
