According to the Presidential Media Unit, the IGP has met with the President today (07) morning.

Commending the service of the IGP, the President has said that Illangakoon would remain in history as an IGP in recent times who safeguarded the dignity of his position.

IGP Illangakoon is to retire on April 11.
