The magistrate considered a complaint filed by Cinnamon Gardens police over the demonstration in front of the UN office in Colombo on February 06 during UNHRC chief Zeid Al Hussein’s Sri Lanka visit.

Police informed the court that the protest had led to severe traffic congestion and much inconvenience to the public.

Other respondents are Jayantha Samarasinghe, Weerakumara Dissanayake, Piyasiri Wijenayake, Roger Seneviratne, Mohamed Muzammil and Don Lucien.
