Dr. Padeniya is responding to recent remarks by the PM regarding the GMOA.

He has told BBC Sandeshaya that he has previously unheard of the CID being told to investigate a printing mistake in a book.

However, premier Wickremesinghe refuted the allegation, saying that police were only investigating a complaint received against the GMOA, and denied any interference in the probe.

Padeniya has rejected the PM’s accusations that the GMOA was going after Mahinda Rajapaksa.
