Yoshitha, along with Nishantha Ranatunga, Rohan Weliwita, Kaushan Dissanayake and Ravinath Fernando are in remand custody on money laundering charges.

There have been media reports that Yasara has gone overseas, but she has denied it.

In a facebook posting, she says she could not go overseas for some time, but went to Colombo Pettah today.

She said, “Disappointed with reputed newspapers publishing articles without checking the simplest facts.”
