UPFA submits Deposit for Prez polls

The United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) today (01) submitted the deposit for the upcoming Presidential election on behalf of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Elections Secretariat in Rajagiriya.

UPFA General Secretary Susil Premajayantha handed over the deposit.

Ministers Basil Rajapaksa, Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, A.H.M. Fowzie and Dinesh Gunewardena also joined the event.

At the present five political parties have submitted the deposit for the Presidential election which is to be held on Jan, 08.
