The land bought to build the office of the Samurdhi Development and Agricultural Officers' Association has been purchased under the name of a relation of the collective's secretary - Jagath Kumara.
The land is said to be located in the Battaramulla area.
Earlier, a Toyota Commuter purchased for the association was registered under the name of his sister. However, following the protest of association members, it was later transferred under the name of the association.
