The Department of Inland Revenue has launched a drive-through system with higher levels of efficiency since 28 Novemeber where the tax payer could hand in their documentation easily and would in return receive a certificate.

This special service has been provided for consecutive 3 days from 28th to 30th of November from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm as the last day of tax payment for year 2014 falls on today (30).

Commissioner General of Inland Revenue, R. M. R.W .Manchanayake launched this service at the Inland Revenue Department, Jawatte branch on Friday by issuing the certificate to a tax payer.
