NewsRadio Airport correspondent said the Indian Foreign Secretary and the delegation arrived in the island around 11.10 this morning.
Foreign Secretary Jaishankar will meet Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera and the Secretary to the Ministry Foreign Affairs during his stay.
The main purpose of the visit is reportedly to pave way for the India-Sri Lanka Joint Commission meeting in Colombo in February. The Commission meeting will be attended by Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
