He said that he has informed of this to the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Constitutional Reforms.
Noting that half of the Tamil masses in Sri Lanka live outside of the North and East provinces, minister Ganesan says that such a system is required to ensure they are properly represented in politics.
He said that he would support a system containing elements of multi-seat method and the preferential vote method.
