The reason is said to be the inclusion of a photograph of Prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe with a black flag in the background.

However, it is said that the photograph has been added to the layout without the approval of any sub editor.

Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror', layout chief of the ANCL - Abhaya Amaradasa said that although such an image was discovered, the publication was printed after replacing the said photograph with another.

However, rumours citing that the publication was sealed, are untrue, he added.

He further said that an inquiry is underway to ascertain whether the photograph had received approval of a sub editor.
