Police bike collides with vehicle of ASP's wife

The motorbike of a Traffic police officer on duty has collided with the vehicle of a woman who had arrived at the Sports ministry yesterday (03) to support Thilanga Sumathipala during the Sri Lanka Cricket elections.

The lady driver had turned towards the Cinnamon Garden police barracks to park the vehicle when the accident had happened.

However, it is said that the bike had lost control after speeding at around 100kmph and that the rear tyre of the bike was nearly worn out.

It was later revealed that the lady driver is the wife of an ASP.
