The mother was produced before the Hultsdorf Chief Magistrate and was remanded till Dec. 31st.

According to the police media spokesman’s office, the mother had strangled her to death last night (21).

The mother had been admitted to the Castle hospital a few days ago for treatment for a sudden bout of fever.

The baby girl, being a newborn baby, was near her mother.
