Several persons have stated before investigators that they had seen a person similar to Tissa at the scene where Thajudeen's vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Accordingly, Tissa is to be arrested soon for questioning.

According to sources from the Police Department, Tissa is currently attached to an Army camp in the Northern Province.

Earlier, he had been a driver of former First Lady - Shiranthi Rajapaksa and as a member of the Presidential Security Division.
