Godahewa has informed that he could not come as he was away from Colombo, and that he would be at the FCID in the coming week, said police spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara.

He was yet to be given a new date to be present at the FCID, Gunasekara said.

Godahewa was to give a statement to the FCID with regard to a financial irregularity at the SEC, over which former deputy director Dhammika Manjira Perera and a head of business Ronnie Ebrahim were arrested and remanded until tomorrow.
