Karunarathna Paranawithana has sworn in today (03) as the Deputy Minister of Parliament Reforms and Mass Media in the presence of the President Maithripala Sirisena.
He previously served as the Deputy Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government.
It was 'Sri Lanka Mirror' which first revealed that he is to be appointed as the deputy media minister.
