Sanoja had left her valuables in her car when she had gone to a funeral parlour in Boralesgamuwa to pay her last respects to late actress Damitha Saluwadana.

According to police sources, thieves had broken the glass shutters and stolen Rs. 32,000 in cash and a mobile phone worth Rs. 30,000 in addition to the jewellery.
